Bryan Specht leads the operations, growth and expansion of Olson Engage, one of the country's fastest growing, most innovative agencies. Under his leadership, Olson Engage received the industry's highest award being named the 2014 PR Week Agency of the Year and referred to as “a model for creativity, growth, and client service.” Bryan was a key player in the $295 million sale of Olson to ICF International and was named to PR Week's Power List of the 50 most influential leaders in the global industry.

He counsels clients in global branding and reputation, social media and stakeholder engagement. Before Olson, he was a member of the Executive Leadership Team at Weber Shandwick, leading integrated accounts with various agencies within the Interpublic Group. At Weber Shandwick, Bryan led or counseled 5 of the firm’s 10 largest integrated global accounts including paid and digital media. On 9/11, he led on-site communications for American Airlines in response to the hijacking and crashing of flight 77. He has helped global industries manage their interactions in the developing world and in more than 40 countries. Clients have included GE, Mars, SC Johnson, SABMiller and industries such as dairy, brewing, energy and confections. 

Bryan previously held senior positions for members of both the U.S. House and Senate, and the White House. He served on the National Board for Prevent Child Abuse (PCA) America and the Marcomm Committee of the Red Cross of Chicago. He was a feature speaker at Mayor Richard Daley’s "Keeping Children Safe: Spiritual Resilience and Social Fabric" and a keynote speaker at the 2008 National Abuse Prevention Conference. He was Weber Shandwick Chicago’s 2004 Employee of the Year and a nominee to the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders. 

Bryan lives in the Chicago suburb of Elmhurst with his wife and two children. He ran track and played football in college and was a graduate assistant coach before entering politics and communications.
