Edwin Yeo

SPRG: General Manager

Edwin has been in the media and communications industry for nearly 30 years. He first cut his teeth in the advertising industry where he created the first-ever made-in-Singapore TV commercial for German lingerie brand Triumph International. He soon moved into journalism, where he first made his name as the editor of the local version of the popular UK football magazine, Shoot. It was, however, at The New Paper that he really made his name, where he won multiple awards not only for his work in sports, but also for his creative and often biting social commentaries. In 2006, he took over the local office of SPRG and has since turned it from a small boutique media relations agency to a 50-man integrated communications organisation that has won multiple communications awards during his time. Today, Edwin spends most of his time developing new platforms for SPRG Singapore and looking for ways to invigorate Singapore’s media market.
